Volunteer

The Love London festival is charity run and relies on the generosity and dedication of volunteers.

Love London volunteering

We are looking for help with festival administration in the office, for event stewards, volunteer photographers and help making podcasts.

A volunteer orientation event will be held to welcome the 2009 event team.

For all volunteers, reasonable expenses including travel within London and lunch (up to £3 per day) will, of course, be covered.

Volunteer Stewards

Now is the time to get in touch if you'd like to help make the festival happen this year. We are looking for volunteer stewards to join the Love London events team.

The role could involve:

·    Setting up and taking down stalls
·    Directing members of the public
·    Helping run stalls
·    Giving out leaflets, information, goodies
·    Taking questionnaires
·    Lifting and shifting boxes, tables, stalls etc

There may also be opportunities to drive the Love London branded Toyota Prius.

Volunteer photographers

This would suit a student (Btech or degree level) who has recently or is just about to graduate and would like to build thier portfolio. It would require attendance of festival events throughout June.

Volunteer podcasters

We are keen to extend the reach of festival events well beyond the dates in questions by making podcasts available of debates, speeches and workshops. If you have experience podcasting and would like to get involved please get in touch.
