A two-day fete and funfair, with stalls, children's fancy dress and football, live music, food and a beer tent. Our ‘Make Every Day a Green Day’ campaign encourages people to recycle all waste from the event and promotes sustainable living. It is sponsored by Eco-age.com and Green Homes Concierge Service, and backed by Grundon, West London Composting, the London boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow, and other organisations. It opens the 42nd Bedford Park Festival, in the world's first garden suburb. The fortnight-long Festival is organised by St Michael & All Angels church and includes Green Night, on June 19th, which will explore how people in Bedford Park and the church can reduce their carbon footprint. Speakers will include David Shreeve, director of the Conservation Foundation and Nicola Giuggioli of Eco.
