Brent Council is organising a major green fair for its yearly Respect Festival, which is held in Roundwood Park, in North West London.
The event, with the theme “Respect your Environment”, will be held on Sunday 5 July and will be one of the last events of the Love London festival. This fair will span over 3 zones - an "Environment Knowledge" zone, an "Environment Activities" zone and a "Green Market" zone are planned. The aim is to promote environmental issues and sustainable living to visitors in a fun and interactive way, through games, workshops, activities and showcasing different product ideas and initiatives. The programme of activities may include "Brent's Environment Olympics", a "Recycled Fashion Show", an “Eco-choir” and "Transforming plastic bags" workshops.
