Green Space '09

The Green Space is an opportunity to meet people from across Southwark interested in environmental issues. The Green Space schools day (Friday 10th July) provides an opportunity for young people to enjoy a day of celebration and participation, promoting achievements from the academic year that contribute to sustainable living and demonstrate good practices to others. The Green Space community day (Saturday 11th July) will be part of 'The Event', an annual community celebration held in Southwark Park, attracting 30,000 people las year. The Green Sapce will aim to encourage community engagement, generate interest and promote positive action around the issues of Sustainable Development.
