It's Compost Awareness Week!

Sunday saw the start of Compost Awareness Week and the Recycle for your Community campaign are inviting people to compost their kitchen and garden waste and put it to good use by growing their own fruit and vegetables — a great way to be green and save money!

Events and activities throughout the week will give you the chance to find out more about how you can start composting your kitchen and garden waste, and get growing. Find out which composting method suits you best, how your local council can collect your green waste, and learn why peat-free compost is great for the environment and even better for your garden. You can even enter our prize draw to win a bag of nutrient-rich local compost.
