Mayor welcomes eco-rally at City Hall

Mayor Boris Johnson was among the first to welcome the 2009 Revolve Brighton to London eco-vehicle rally at City Hall on Monday (8th June).

The rally which included a gas powered Lotus,  Tesla electric sports car and hybrid vehicles parked up on Potters Fields for inspection. The Mayor, who drives a Tesla himself, toured the parade with one of the show's organisers learning about the different modes of propulsion. They were accompanied by a media scrum and fascinated members of the public.

Mayor Johnson also stopped to look at the Love London branded Toyota Prius from sponsors' Zipcar.
