Low-price Rechargeable Batteries

We always like to encourage the use of rechargeable Batteries where appropriate.

While London 21 cannot endorse any particular product, we note that ALDI Stores are offering high-capacity NiMH rechargeable items at only £2.79 a set.  In use by one of our contributors, they are providing excellent duration — although there is, of course, no indication so far of their longevity.

We also have no information on the ethicality of, or environmental impact incurred in their production.

Even cheaper similar items can be found at LIDL, but they seem to be in limited supply.
