The Love London Green Festival is believed to be the largest annual green festival in the world. From 4th to 28th June 2009, over a hundred green events will take place across the capital, bringing communities together to share ideas and celebrate innovations. These events provide fun days out and engage Londoners in building a sustainable future for our city.
With the recession dominating lives and headlines Londoners may ask "Is this really a good time to be concentrating on the environment and sustainability?" Of course the answer is "Yes, economic andenvironmental stability has never been more relevant".
The great news is that 99% of Love London Green Festival events are free and many will offer advice on how Londoners can to do thier bit to make the city cleaner, greener and more sustainable as well as saving money. Keep an eye on our eco-thrift page for top tips and useful articles. We've also teamed up with our sponsors and other green businesses to bring you great offers on green and sustainable products.
